The wine Redark from the ultra premium category has been known to wine-lovers since the spring of 2002 when the first vintage of that brand – Redark Merlot 2000 was launched on the Bulgarian market.

"... Bulgaria’s first ever icon wine, the dramatic Redark from Damianitza", says Dr. Caroline Gilby, MW (Master of wine) in one of her articles for the prestigious Decanter Magazine. And consequently, it won medals in big competitions worldwide.

In our pursuit of achieving balanced rich and succulent body, flavoured with the exotic character of the local unique Bulgarian varieties, the unique Bulgarian varieties Ruen and Rubin were added for the first time in vintage 2005.
